Biography

I am a Mining Engineer with expertise in rock mechanics and geomechanics, developed through experience in both mining operations and consultancy. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering at KAUST, with a focus on subsurface geomechanics. My long-term goal is to become a leading expert in energy and mineral resources.

Research Interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of rock mechanics, subsurface geomechanics, and drilling engineering, with a particular focus on understanding the behavior of geological formations under complex stress conditions. I am also interested in the application of these principles to Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), especially in ensuring safe and efficient subsurface storage. Through this integrated approach, I aim to contribute to advancing sustainable resource development and energy transition technologies.
