As a dedicated and versatile engineering professional with a robust background in the oil and gas industry, I bring extensive experience spanning various roles. My career journey reflects a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation in energy solutions. I am a petroleum engineer with a high capability to solve problems and excellent teamwork skills. Recently, I enhanced my expertise as an Offshore Drilling Engineer Intern at Saudi Aramco. This role allowed me to delve into advanced offshore drilling operations and collaborate with top-tier engineers in one of the world's leading energy companies. Previously, I served as a Subsurface Engineer in Colombia, working in the water injection optimization group in Casabe field working as a specialized support to production and injection monitoring. I also worked as a Production Engineer where conceptual design of a testing area where prototypes of downhole oil-water separation tools (DOWS) were tested.
My research interests are focused on fracture characterization from wellbore data, interpretation of stress-induced wellbore breakouts identified on the image logs and geomechanical testing of rock samples (scratch test, triaxial test, Brazilian test). I am also interested in CO2 permanent sequestration through mineralization.
