Biography

Petroleum and Chemical Engineer from Colombia with experience in the energy industry, spanning well construction, cementing, subsurface data, and process engineering. Interdisciplinary background that combines laboratory research with practical engineering experience, providing a broad perspective on subsurface and energy systems. Interested in applying this combination of engineering and experimental experience to address challenges in sustainable energy development.

Research Interests

My research focuses on subsurface energy systems, with emphasis on rock-fluid interactions, multiphase flow in porous media, and reservoir characterization. I am interested in linking laboratory-scale experiments with reservoir-scale engineering decisions across conventional, geothermal, and low-carbon applications, and in understanding how subsurface properties and operating conditions influence energy efficiency, emissions, and the sustainability of energy resources.
