Alexander Pengg is a University Assistant and Junior Researcher at the Chair of Energy Geosciences (Montanuniversität Leoben). After earning his master’s degree, he joined the research group of Professor David Misch, where he is specializing in the analysis and exploration of natural hydrogen systems.
Alexander conducts research on the natural hydrogen system with a strong focus on natural hydrogen exploration. In his work, he combines methods from various disciplines, including (soil) gas geochemistry, soil analysis, and the study of fluid inclusions, to comprehensively characterize the individual elements of the natural hydrogen system. Moreover, he works in the field of sedimentology.
