The first 39m of a 300m long core are accomplished. Target is the Jurassic sequence consisting of the Hith Anhydrite (starting at ~110m below ground level), the Arab and Jubaila Formations. This core will provide a geologically unique, full record of these formations and unprecedented research opportunities.
